Joseph Kipikasa, MD, FACOG
Maternal Fetal Medicine
A native of Pennsylvania, Joseph Kipikasa, M.D., is board certified in both Maternal Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his medical training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and his first postgraduate studies were in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he completed his residency in 1993 with board certification in 1996. Dr. Kipikasa then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in 1995, and was board certified in 2003.
He has been a Perinatologist in Chattanooga since 1995, and is currently a partner with Regional Obstetrical Consultants. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, both Chattanooga and Knoxville campuses. He is also the Vice Chair and Residency Program Director of University of Tennessee Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chattanooga Unit. Dr. Kipikasa is also a member of several academic and professional associations, and received the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award in 2003, and the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award in 2005.
