STORC – Telemedicine Solutions to Obstetric Care in Rural Counties

STORC brings the services of ROC to your community, often eliminating the need for travel or transport. Using telemedicine, the patient is able to interact face to face with clinical staff and physicians, just as if she were being seen at the physician's office in Chattanooga, TN.

During the visit, an advanced-practice care provider and certified sonographer are onsite with you, while a ROC physician consults via telemedicine technology. A Genetic Counselor and/or Diabetic Educator can also join the telemedicine consultation as needed to help ensure you receive the best possible care.

What To Expect

During a telemedicine session, a member of our advanced practice staff and a sonographer are on site with you. These staff members will handle all aspects of onsite care. During the visit, you will interact with one of our MFM physicians using teleconference equipment and digital medical services that allow for real-time sharing of data and images.

Comprehensive Care

Although not all services necessary for high risk pregnancy care are available via telemedicine, the staff of ROC will work with the referring physician and patient to ensure that whenever possible, this convenient service is made available.
