Leilah Zahedi-Spung, MD
Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist
Leilah Zahedi-Spung, MD joined Regional Obstetrical Consultants in September 2021. She grew up outside of Atlanta, GA, and attended the University of Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. She then went on to receive her Medical Degree from Emory University. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University as well. She went on to complete her Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Washington University In St. Louis. She is also a clinical instructor and Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's OB/GYN program. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), a physician advocate, and holds national leadership roles in SMFM. She is glad to be back in the Southeast caring for the pregnant patients of Tennessee. GO DAWGS!
