Sunanda Sadanandan, DO
Dr. Sunanda Sadanandan, otherwise known to her patients as Dr. Sunny, is a native of Chattanooga, TN. She attended Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA, and graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology. She then went on to the National Institute of Health and completed a three-year Fellowship in research at the National Human Genome Research Institute. Her medical training was at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006 at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, with board certification in 2008. Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship was completed at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM in 2009.
Dr. Sadanandan returned to Chattanooga and has been a part of Regional Obstetrical Consultants since 2009. She is a University of Tennessee, Medical College Clinical Assistant, and in this role is dedicated to mentoring residents and medical students. She is a member of several academic and professional associations including American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
