Blue Ridge Joins Telemedicine Network
May 25th, 2011

Blue Ridge, Georgia is the latest area to join ROC's growing network of telemedicine sites. On Thursday, May 26, the first patients will be seen at Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge. The telemedicine program allows patients to be seen in their hometown areas rather than having to travel to ROC's offices in Chattanooga. A ROC physician located in Chattanooga uses the latest video and audio technology to provide top level care to the patient in the remote facility. With Blue Ridge, ROC now has nine telemedicine sites in operation with several others scheduled to be added within the next year. ROC welcomes the partnership with Fannin Regional Hospital and the obstetricians in that area as we work together to provide the best health care possible to mothers and babies in the growing region served by ROC physicians.
